About me
Shunna Jeter is the Executive Director of South Carolina Legal Services (SCLS), a statewide nonprofit law firm providing civil legal assistance to low-income South Carolinians. She is also a member of the South Carolina Access to Justice Commission. Her professional background is rooted in administering anti-poverty programs, where she focused on understanding how policy, resources, and legal systems affect the daily lives of low-income families. That perspective informs her work advancing civil legal access as a tool for helping families develop and maintain long-term stability.
