About me
Shubi Deoras has served as Counsel/Director for the ABA Resource Center for Access to Justice Initiatives (a project of the ABA Standing Committee on Legal Aid and Indigent Defendants (SCLAID) since 2017. She also held the position of Assistant Counsel to the ABA Commission on IOLTA from 2014 – 2018. Prior to this time, Ms. Deoras provided independent consulting services to several different national and state advocacy organizations regarding a variety of civil and/or criminal justice system matters. From 2000-2005, she served as indigent defense counsel to SCLAID. Ms. Deoras received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
