About me
Sarah Anderson serves as the Pro Bono Unit Deputy Director / Clinics & Compliance for Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP). In this role, she develops clinic models that can be implemented across GLSP’s regional offices and oversees compliance with Legal Services Corporation (LSC) requirements and other applicable laws and regulations.
Ms. Anderson’s work focuses on building sustainable systems that strengthen pro bono participation statewide. She collaborates closely with staff, volunteers, and community partners to develop accessible service models, streamline processes, support innovative approaches to meeting client needs, and provide support for PBU staff clinics around the state. Her portfolio includes clinic development, policy design, training, and crossprogram coordination to enhance consistency and impact across GLSP’s pro bono initiatives.
She frequently speaks on topics related to pro bono program design, clinic innovation, compliance, and best practices for engaging volunteers in highquality, clientcentered legal services. Ms. Anderson has presented on the national stage at conferences including the Innovations in Technology Conference, the Equal Justice Conference, and the Disaster Resilience Symposium.
Before joining GLSP, she was a staff attorney with Maryland Legal Aid, where she litigated cases involving public benefits, housing, and expungement. She is a graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Ms. Anderson lives in Savannah with her husband, Scott, and their four dogs.
