About me
Dr. Sally Nesemeier is a Communications Manager at Pacolet Milliken, where she helps lead strategic communications across a family of companies. Previously, she directed marketing and communications for South Carolina Legal Services, a statewide nonprofit, serving as the organization’s primary communications strategist and practitioner. Earlier in her career, she taught high school social studies. Dr. Nesemeier holds a B.S. in Education and an MBA from Clemson University, as well as a PhD from Texas Tech University. Her research has focused on communication and change management during organizational change, with additional work examining nonprofit governance and organizational decision-making. She also serves as a communications and marketing consultant for mission-driven and nonprofit organizations.
