Maria Duvuvuei is Communications Strategist at the Legal Services Corporation (LSC), where she leads strategic communications efforts in support of civil legal aid nationwide. Detailed to the Office of Government Relations and Public Affairs, she manages LSC’s communications framework, develops messaging for leadership, and serves as a primary point of contact with national media. She also works closely with LSC’s grantees, providing training and guidance on effective storytelling and outreach to highlight the impact of legal aid in communities across the country.
Prior to joining LSC, Maria ran a consulting practice serving nonprofits, government agencies, and political campaigns. She previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at Community Legal Aid in Northeast Ohio, where she oversaw communications, development, government relations, and strategic initiatives.
Maria’s career reflects a deep commitment to public service, social justice, and the belief that powerful stories can strengthen institutions, build bridges, and expand access to justice.
