About me
Lauren Williams is an Equal Justice Works Fellow at Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio (LASCO), where they provide direct legal services and build partnerships with medical, judicial, and community organizations to help reduce opioid fatalities. Working within a harm reduction and access to justice framework, Lauren’s work aims to bring community organizations together with legal professionals to mitigate many of the legal barriers people with Opioid Use Disorder face. Lauren received their B.S. from Ohio University and their M.A and J.D. from Cleveland State University. They proudly originate from a resilient community in rural Southeast Ohio.
