About me
Lisa Singer is the Pro Bono Manager for Legal Services Alabama (LSA), the only LSC grantee in the state of Alabama. A practicing attorney for over 30 years, Lisa spent the bulk of her career in private practice, primarily doing commercial litigation and insurance coverage work. Immediately prior to joining LSA, Lisa was senior staff attorney with Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham.
Lisa manages LSA's Partners for Justice reduced fee program, recruits and manages volunteers for all 8 LSA offices, and works with Alabama's 5 Volunteer Lawyer Programs as part of the Alabama Pro Bono Alliance.
Lisa is serving a two-year term as the Chair of the Alabama State Bar Pro Bono Committee, and she is also active in the Birmingham Bar Association. Lisa is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
