About me
Lauren Gilbride is the Managing Attorney of Intake and the Volunteer Lawyers Program at the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. She oversees an intake department that handles over 25,000 requests for service and provides advice and other assistance to several thousand clients each year. In addition, she manages the Volunteer Lawyers Program, which engages volunteer attorneys, law students and paralegals throughout Northeast Ohio to provide both brief and extended legal service using a variety of service delivery models. Lauren has worked with volunteers for over 15 years. She has developed and managed several successful pro bono programs, including an Expungement Clinic and a Landlord Tenant Project. Lauren has presented on a variety of substantive legal topics both locally and nationally. She is a member of Legal Aid’s Ethics Committee and the Case Management Administration team. She is passionate about using technology to better serve and support volunteers and clients as they work together. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law and received her B.A. from the University of Michigan.
