About me
Katie Niejadlik is the Global Director for Pro Bono at the Center for Reproductive Rights, where she leads a global team of pro bono professionals and drives the organization’s strategy to expand and deepen partnerships with the private bar in support of reproductive rights as human rights. In this role, Katie oversees a team spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Africa, and manages a global pro bono network of more than 3000 lawyers across 88 countries and 140 law firms. She is responsible for developing and executing innovative pro bono models, strengthening law firm engagement, and leveraging pro bono as a force multiplier to advance impact litigation, policy advocacy, and movement-building efforts worldwide.
A recognized leader in the pro bono community, Katie regularly speaks at industry conferences and has forged lasting partnerships with leading law firms. She previously led the pro bono programs at an AmLaw 100 law firm, where she expanded access to justice for underserved communities and built large-scale, high-impact pro bono initiatives.
Katie has served on the Executive Committee of the Association of Pro Bono Counsel and is known for her strategic, collaborative approach to building sustainable pro bono infrastructure. Her work focuses on aligning private-sector legal capacity with frontline advocacy to address systemic barriers to justice and advance gender equality and human rights globally.
