About me
Julia Schutt leads the Research & Evaluation practice area at A2J Tech. In this role, Julia designs, conducts, and consults on assessments to help organizations improve their access to justice outcomes. Julia is an anthropologist with a multidisciplinary background in social science, human rights, and advocacy. Julia’s research approach is grounded in connection and respect, and centers the perspectives and priorities of partners and communities. Previously, Julia led research and civil justice initiatives in her home state of Massachusetts, including collaborations with the Trial Court, Access to Justice Commission, and Department of Veterans’ Services. Julia has lived and worked in Latin America and currently resides in the United Kingdom.
