Ellen Samuel is the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Consulting at Just-Tech. With a specialization in developing innovative solutions for the legal sector, Ellen's expertise spans cybersecurity assessments, AI implementation, knowledge management systems, and much more. Her passion for integrating technology with traditional law practices makes her a key player in enhancing efficiency and access to justice.
Ellen’s legal career includes many years at Prairie State Legal Services, as a staff attorney and later a supervising attorney helping supervise a large team of attorneys and paralegal intake specialists. Her extensive experience in litigation and civil legal matters provides her with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the legal aid community. Ellen is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and Master Online Teacher, underscoring her commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
In addition to consulting, Ellen shapes the future of legal professionals as an Adjunct Professor, teaching courses in Electronic Discovery and Legal Technology. Her academic credentials include a J.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Iowa.
