Elizabeth Woods is a Supervising Senior Attorney in the Public Benefits unit at the Empire Justice Center in Albany, NY. Elizabeth was previously a Senior Staff Attorney at Disability Rights New York in the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness Program, focusing on federal litigation and advocacy. Before joining Disability Rights New York, Elizabeth was a Senior Attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York working in the Re-Entry Project, the Economic Justice Project (focusing on public benefits) and the Homeowner Protection Program. Elizabeth also worked in the public benefits and housing units of Legal Services of the Hudson Valley. She is a 2008 graduate of the City University of New York School of Law.
