About me
In her current role as Chief Strategy Officer for the Arizona Bar Foundation, Chris Groninger leads efforts to expand access to legal help across Arizona. Her work focuses on strengthening partnerships, supporting collaboration among stakeholders, and increasing awareness about the importance of civil legal aid and public access to legal services and information. She regularly provides technical assistance to professionals on grant and program implementation, evaluation, public policy advocacy, plain language legal information, and nonprofit administration. Chris also oversees and manages Arizona’s legal help websites, statewide prequalification interviews, and more than $10 million in grants and funding contracts to support statewide civil legal services, including Arizona’s Domestic Violence Legal Assistance Project, the Statewide Civil Legal Aid Project, and the Foundation’s grantmaking programs. She chairs the Arizona Commission on Access to Justice’s Intergovernmental Collaboration Workgroup and serves as an active member of the Arizona Housing Coalition Board of Directors, the Maricopa County Human Services Commission, and the Arizona Civil Rights Advisory Board’s Housing Subcommittee.
