About me
Bernadette Manigault is a Director of Litigation at Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County (NLSLA), where she leads and supports impact litigation across the organization. With over ten years of litigation experience, Bernadette has secured more than $50 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients. She is deeply committed to expanding access to quality health care and previously led NLSLA’s Health Consumer Center, where she helped grow the organization’s medical debt practice. Bernadette is a frequent guest lecturer on the social determinants of health, including the maternal health crisis, and currently serves as a volunteer adjunct professor at USC Gould School of Law.
